After more than 25 years, North Bay Shower Door has a new name!

North Bay Shower Door, as the name suggests, started out solely as a shower door vendor, installing mainly framed shower enclosures and sliders. Over the years as design trends and materials have changed so have our product offerings. While frameless shower enclosures are still our primary focus and what we are known for, we also offer custom mirrors, glass railings, backsplashes, wine room enclosures, and glass countertops. 

Frameless shower enclosures have become dominant fixtures in designer homes and remodels. Our extensive experience with glass and architectural design concepts have made us a leader in the Bay Area for frameless shower doors. With a meticulous attention to detail, precision craftsmanship and desire to take-on challenging projects, we have come up with solutions that create a higher standard in what can be achieved with glass enclosures. It is this experience that made other heavy glass products such an easy fit for us. 

The need for custom mirrors, cut to fit any space expanded our products beyond the reach of a shower door company. Using our knowledge gained from designing frameless showers we were able to seamlessly integrate mirror fabrication into our product line. We have developed techniques for the creation of completely custom mirror designs and features that require exacting measurements and an elevated level of artistry and skill to achieve. 

Glass can be utilized in many ways and railing implementation was a natural next step in our business evolution. To meet the growing demand in architectural design for structural barriers that maintain unimpeded views we developed and tested ways to incorporate glass using a variety of mounting options. The techniques developed for measuring railing projects has allowed us to maintain control of project time-lines and deliver on schedule while executing at the highest level.

In addition to new products we have also worked hard to improve our overall process and approach to new and challenging projects. We are firm believers in design iteration, constantly looking for ways to improve our process. For the past decade we have made a habit of creating case studies which have led to new methodologies in our workflow and installations. This exploration in procedure and technique has allowed us to achieve consistent and reliable results with the work we do even when faced with new challenges.
