Safety
In light of our present extraordinary circumstances we are implementing safety protocols for onsite visits to protect your health and the health of our employees. While construction is permissible under the state and county shelter-in-place orders, there are safety measures which must be followed to help slow the spread of Covid-19 in our community. Please help us by adhering to the following health and safety protocols.
+ What to do upon our arrival
When the technicians arrive please open the door and let them know where to go. We will keep our distance and find our way to the bathroom(s). It may feel strange to wear a mask in your own home, we get it, it's weird but as mandated by the state, you must wear a mask if you are in indoor spaces and if a distance of six feet is not possible.
Make sure to remove all personal products from the vanity and shower enclosure, e.g., toothbrushes, shampoos, soaps etc.
+ Clean and disinfect the entire bathroom.
Bathrooms can be a dirty place. During a shower installation, our techs often have to put their heads close to toilets, vanities, shower walls and curbs—all surfaces that could be less than desirable when not clean. All surfaces should be wiped with a disinfectant prior to our arrival.
+ Shower curtains and rods
To limit contact with temporary shower curtains, please have them removed before our techs arrival.
+ What to do if you have pets
All pets should be kept in an location that is closed off from the work area for the duration of the install.
Technicians will require a pet free pathway from the front door to the work area as we will need to keep the entry door open during setup and breakdown.
+ What to expect with multiple trades on a jobsite
When we are working on site there should be no other workers in rooms we will be working in. A minimum of six feet is required between any other tradespeople on a jobsite and as recommended by the Marin Health and Human Services, trades should be staggered on construction sites to reduce density.
+ Your safety and ours during an install
Keep a minimum of six feet and do not enter the bathroom until after the technicians have left. We know how exciting it is to see our work come together and how brilliant it makes your home look. It can be irristable and tempting to check-in during an install but we encourage you to wait until completion and our techs have removed all items from the site before you enter. If there are any questions about your new enclosure after the techs complete their work we can conduct a video visit.
+ What if a site is not safe?
It is our goal to prepare clients and give them the tools they need so that every install is a success and any chance of transmission is reduced. The health and well being of our team members and their families as well as our clients is paramount.
Technicians will evaluate site conditions and may opt to reschedule if conditions do not seem safe.
Virtual Site Visits
We are now offering virtual site visits to help minimize face to face contact. Virtual visits allow us to acquire the knowledge we need to get your project started—we will go over your space, offer consultation and present options which allow us to quickly build a proposal. Virtual visits are a great way to get your project moving forward if you are in your building or planning phase. Start your project.
Contactless Installs
We are now offering contactless installs. Our team of technicians are experienced and experts in their craft. Due to our diligence in measurements, glass ordering and proposals, all questions are already answered prior to installation. It’s our detail oriented process which allows our team to complete installations without necessitating contact with home owners or contractors on the job site. All our techs need is an open door and they are self sufficient in getting the job done at the highest level.
